About Us: The Human Of Color Haircare is committed to providing top-quality haircare products specifically designed for people of color. As part of our expansion, we are introducing vending machines stocked with our premium haircare products at strategic locations. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Vending Machine Operator.
Position Overview: As a Vending Machine Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining, stocking, and tracking inventory for our vending machines. You will manage the day-to-day operations and serve as the primary point of contact for any issues or inquiries related to the vending machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regularly visit vending machine locations to restock products and ensure machines are clean and operational.
- Track inventory levels and manage stock to ensure machines are always adequately supplied.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vending machines to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Collect cash and process electronic payments from vending machines, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and issues related to vending machine products and services.
- Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain teams to manage product deliveries and inventory.
- Monitor sales and usage patterns to optimize product selection and placement.
- Report any major issues or malfunctions to the appropriate technical support team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to vending machine locations.
- Basic mechanical skills for routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
