What is the meaning of hair type?

Hair type is all about your hair's curl pattern. Hair can be straight, wavy, curly, or coily. Everyone is unique and has DIFFERENT curl pattern and shape.

 

Also known as wavy hair, can be defined by its “S” shape curls and looser texture.

1. Type 2A - Wavy (Fine/Thin)


Loose "S" shape and may be prone to frizz and flatness.

2. Type 2B - Wavy (Medium)

Wavy hair that is thicker and has a more defined "S" shape. The waves are more pronounced, with a slight bend at the ends.
